CIVIL CEREMONY

Often our couples think that having a legal wedding abroad could be too difficult. Thanks to my staff and our professional translators everything will be easier.

According to your home country and citizenship our staff will guide you thought all paperwork t produce, giving you all information and liaising with all local offices to meet Italian law requirements. Civil ceremonies are conducted by an Italian authority and they are legally recognised in your country.
Legal civil Ceremony is performed in Italian by Mayor or civil registrar in some cases (when approved) the ceremony can be performed by an Italian friend of the couple, with an official Interpreter.
A legal civil Ceremony in Italy is made of a mix of the reading of articles of the Italian civil code and traditional marriage vows. it can be very pretty and you can also personalise it with some more readings, poems or music. This must be agreed with the town hall. Ceremony lasts about twenty minutes.
For the legal civil ceremony you need two witnesses over 18 years old. In case you decide for an elopement we can take care of the witnesses as well!
Civil ceremony by law must take place in buildings approved by the Italian government.
In the last years there are many wonderful outdoor wedding ceremony venues that allow legal civil ceremony, but this needs to be checked with the venue itself you choose for your wedding.
